this concept begins with nature: trees, rocks, soil, plants etc. i take direct prints from the surfaces of the natural world, capturing their textures, scars and quiet stories. these textures carry the slow passing of time and the poetic work of nature through weather, growth, decay and change.
i then use these prints as the basis for a custom tattoo. you can look through my collection of prints in my notebook and choose the one that resonates the most with you. the place and time the prints were made are also in the notebook. the print is then placed on your body in a way that resembles my composition style.
the process is simple but meaningful: it reveals on the body the silent presence of the natural world. each tattoo is personal and unique. subtle or bold, soft or rough, it’s a way to carry a landscape and holding onto something that doesn’t belong to us but still shapes us. this is more than aesthetics: it’s about trace, memory, materiality and connection.
